From the Founder
Thanks for visiting Child of Theos. In the Greek language Theos means God. I can go on record and say that I am a child of God (Theos). It is my prayer that you can say that as well. This website is designed to ground people in their faith. The world which we live in is full of false teachers. It is my desire as the founder to ground you in Bible truth, the truth that will help guide you down the road of the Christian life. The Biblical text used on this site will be the King James Version. I believe that God chose to preserve His word for us in the English via the King James Version. Some of the links to other sites may quote from a different version, therefore a lot of the teachings and comments made on these sites may not necessarily be the views and beliefs of Child of Theos ministries. Feel free to look around the site, read some of the articles, listen to sermons, and watch some videos. Thanks again for taking the time to view this site.
Founder's Corner
In 1 John 4 the apostle John, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, warns us about the influx of false teachers that are present in our world. He says that we should try the spirits whether they be of God. He establishes the fact in verses 4-6 that we can overcome the influence of these false teachers by knowing God. This is not speaking of a general knowledge but rather denotes an intimate relationship with God. The more we know God's word and the closer we are to Him, the easier it is to separate the truth from error.
